Adolescent Psych RN - Days

Schedule: Days 7a-7p (3x12)

Assignment Details: Responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care in all areas of the unit.

Requirements:

• Current RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
• Graduate of an approved Nursing program is required.
• 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or to be obtained before completing orientation.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or to be obtained before completing orientation.
• Ability to work well in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.
• Delegate interventions to appropriate staff members and supervise as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment for nursing care.
• Provide education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with other health professionals in planning and managing healthcare.
